Building the future of our destination together with new generations.
In 2020, together with the local community, we launched a participatory process that led to the definition of the Stay Young positioning, the creation of a destination masterplan and a shared governance structure involving local administrations and stakeholders.
To complete this journey, however, one fundamental element was still missing: the new generations. Young people who today manage accommodation facilities, restaurants and businesses — whether through generational transition or entrepreneurial choice — or who work within these realities and want to actively contribute to the development of the territory.
Garda Trentino NextGEN operates through two complementary working groups: the Core Team and the extended group.
The Core Team consists of nine members and represents the operational group of the project. It meets up to four times a year and is responsible for defining the agenda of meetings, identifying and developing projects to be submitted to APT Garda Dolomiti, and representing Garda Trentino NextGEN during institutional meetings and events. The Core Team is also responsible for managing the budget, with the goal of transforming ideas into concrete actions for the destination.
The extended group includes all members of NextGEN and brings together young entrepreneurs who choose to join the project. It meets twice a year and serves as an open discussion space, where proposals developed by the Core Team are discussed and validated, while ideas, insights and needs coming directly from the territory are collected.
